So long, farewell, auf wiedersehn, goodbye.

Admit it: You Like The Sound of Music! Starkville saw the end of an indie rock era yesterday as The Millicents played their last ever show (bassist moving to NC and drummer gone to Jackson) and the legendary original JBA line-up played what will be their final show for quite a while as their bassist is also moving to NC (hmm . . . yeah it's the same guy), with a guitarist in Starkville for a while and the drummer and singer/songwriter/guitarist down in Jackson you have a recipe for hiatus. The following is a massive photo essay about the evening and events. For fun we'll start with Starkvegas' equivalent of page 6

Starkville's Newest Couple?

Party Posse

Dude, where's my car?

Hot Rocks!

Toys in the Attic

Crazy Train

All the Young Dudes

I Saw Her Standing There

Oh, Pretty Women

White Rabbit

Brown Eyed Girl

This entry's already too photo heavy, so the actual show review will follow anon, as a teaser here are the actual, honest-to-God setlists:

JBA

The MILLICENTS

Ironically both are incorrect in one way. JBA's is missing their show-closing Superchunk cover, and Ed assures me that The Millicents did not play track 4 as above.

The show review will also look around Dave's and discuss such issues as the curious gravity well near the stage:

Feel free also to comment on the Redneck CEO's suggestion for TNA:
