I didn't set the limit of actually listening to stuff at the time to include it, although Discs 1 and 3 are absolutely fair representations of that. Disc 2 was an attempt to put together a greatest hits of punk thing; I obviously missed some stuff by doing multiple tracks for others: Sham 69, Stranglers, Undertones, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Johnny Moped, The Nipple Erectors for starters.

I also had some issues w/iTunes over producing multiple copies of the playlist, so I had to take down "(White Man) In Hammersmith Palais" and "Harmony in My Head" which were replaced with "Career Opportunities" + "Cheat" and "boredom" respectively.

Disc 1 accurately reflects my 3 great passions of the period: guitar rawk (Southern or Otherwise), classic soul, and pure power pop.

Disc 3 is a homage to my time in Boston (9/81-7/85), York (8/85-6/86) and Stanford (8/86-8/96).

BTW, the Delta 5 track was a free download from Salon.com's Audiofile.
